Ian Blackman
Biography
Ian Blackman was born in Toronto, Ontario and moved to the United States with his parents when he was 5 years old. Growing up in New York's Hudson Valley, he apprenticed at the acclaimed Woodstock Playhouse and attended Bard College. After interning at The Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut, he moved to New York City where he studied at The Ensemble Studio Theatre Institute, later appearing On and Off-Broadway as well as in Regional Theatres across the U.S. Television work includes guest appearances on "Billions," "Boardwalk Empire," "Jessica Jones," "The Blacklist", "Fosse/Verdon", "The Sopranos" and the recurring role of Senator Casey Giallo on Netflix' "House of Cards." Film work includes "Men in Black 3," "Bourne Legacy," "The Judge," "The First Purge", the Coen Brothers' "Inside Llewyn Davis" and "Hail, Caesar!," as John McEnroe Sr. in "Borg vs. McEnroe", and as Cofer Black in "The Report".
